About the Photo: A hiker and his best friend enjoy the view from Phoebe’s Nable at the Moose Mountains Reservation in Middleton, NH. Moose Mountains was conserved by the Society for the Protection of NH Forests in 2006 with support from Moose Mountains Regional Greenways, the State Forest Legacy Committee, the NH Division of Forests and Lands, and other generous donors.

About the Photographer: Emily Lord is the Stewardship Outreach Coordinator with UNH Cooperative Extension and serves on the board of her local land trust, Moose Mountains Regional Greenways. She is a self-taught photographer with a passion for nature and a background in environmental sociology. She lives in a cabin in Middleton with her partner and pup and in her spare time can be found blogging about her walks in the woods or photographing people in nature.
